There are consumers, there are creators, there are both, and then there’s the “I don’t know.”
Creators make things. Creators are usually consuming some kind of entertainment while creating their own content.
Consumers ONLY consume. “I’m living a safe life. I love my shows, I hate my job but, hey, that’s life right?
No dude. You don’t have to work a shitty job and then die. Creators cannot stand a job like that. I’ve had 26 jobs.
The “I don’t know.”
When was the last time you said “I don’t know.”? Do you remember when it was? Do you know that, if you don’t know the answer, and you just say “I don’t know” it’s OK? Did you know that? You probably didn’t if you’re someone who hates to be wrong. Someone who HATES not knowing the answer. Do you know who ELSE didn’t have all the answers? Einstein. Mozart. A shit-ton of other famous geniuses, I don’t know. See how easy that was?
CHALLENGE: Have a conversation with any human. When a topic comes up and you’re not sure of the answer…say “I don’t know.” Test your friends. Who NEEDS to be right? Who is REALLY uncomfortable to talk to because they always have their own opinion on things that they’re not 100% certain of.
Why did I write this post? Will anyone read it? Will anyone respond to it? Will it get me more followers on any of my social platforms? Honestly, I don’t know. I don’t know if anyone reads my blog. These are missives and ideas I have; opinions are individual. Influence is a choice. If you choose to accept this challenge, thanks. If you respond to it, double thanks! If you read this and still don’t want to do it, that’s cool. I don’t know your life. I won’t pretend to know that anyone had the time to read this, much less act on it.
I don’t know.
